Uzun zaman önce ahşap boyamak için aldığım akrilik boyalardan sütlü kahve rengini doğrudan kağıdın üzerine boca ettim. Fırçayla rastgele yüzeye dağıttım. Kuruduktan sonra sayfayı buruşturdum. Tekrar düzledim.Kırışıkların bıraktığı izleri hep sevmişimdir. Her hazine avının bir haritası olur diye düşündüm. Konak tarihi merkezin haritalarından birini alıp 4x4 cmlik karelere ayırdım. Yolları beyaz bırakıp geri kalan bölümleri farklı tonlarda limoni yeşil renkte boyadım. Marker ve kuru boya kullandım bu aşamada. Parçaları sayfaya eşit aralıklarla yapıştırdım.Sanki harita bir bulmacanın parçasıymış, son bölüm de hazine adasına varıyormuş gibi:) Bulmacanın son parçası hazinenin olduğu mekanı gösterecekti. Birkaç S deseni bulup onları üst üste yapıştırdım. Araya da bir deniz feneri resmi yerleştirdim. Hazine adasının yerini fenerden iyi ne anlatabilirdi ki? Adanın havasını yağmur damlalarıyla tamamladım. Ve böylece sayfa bitti.

I bought acrylic paints to paint timber boxes a long time ago. I poured the light brown directly on the paper. And smeared it on the surface with a brush. I creased the page after it dried. Then I flattened it again. I always loved the traces left by the creases. I thought every treasure hunt needs a treasure map. So I took a map of the historical center of Konak and sliced it into 4x4cm squares. I left the roads white and painted the rest with different hues of lime green. In this stage I used marker and coloured pencils. I glued the pieces onto the page with equal spacing. As if the map was part of a puzzle and it would end up in  the treasure island:) The last bit of the puzzle would show the location of the treasure. I pasted a few ogee patterns on the right end of the page and squeezed a picture of a lighthouse in between. What could better tell the place of the treasure island than a lighthouse? I completed the atmosphere of the island with rain drops. And so the page was done.
