52 haftada baskı yapmak projesinde çoğunlukla evde bulunan eski kumaşları değerlendirdim. Ama 45. haftanın çalışması 2TLye aldığım pamuklu bir parça kumaş üzerinde denendi. Fikir 100 gün projesinin içinde gelişti. Başlangıçta bunu yazmışım:

100 gün projesi 19 Nisan'da başladı. Amaç önümüzdeki 100 gün boyunca
her gün kendi seçtiğiniz bir şeyi yapmak. Kimbilir belki bu 100 günün
sonunda bir alışkanlığa dönüşür...100 gün boyunca her gün dikiş
dikeceğim. Dikiş dikmeye 3 yıl önce başladım ama istediğim gibi
ilerleyemedim. Geniş boş zamanlar olsun diye bekledim, ki hiç gerçekçi
değildi. Bu sefer farklı bir yöntem deneyeceğim: Her gün en az 15 en
fazla 30 dakika dikişle ilgili bir şey yapacağım. Kalıp çıkarmak, kumaş
biçmek, evdeki kumaşların envanterini çıkarmak, eski giysileri sökmek
(ki yeni giysilere dönüşsünler), ütü yapmak (evet dikişin en sevmediğim
ama en önemli kısmı, kaçmak için her yolu denedim...), yama yapmak,

For 52 weeks of printmaking project i utilized the old fabrics at home. But for week 45 i experimented a 2TL(half a dollar?) cotton piece that i bought. The idea developed within the 100 day project. Here is what i wrote at the beginning:

started on April 19. The aim is to do smth you like in the following
100 days.Perhaps it will become a habit after 100 days...I will sew
everyday in 100 days. I started sewing 3 years ago but could not make
progress as much as i would have liked. I have waited for big blocks of
spare time, which was quite unrealistic. This time i am trying
something different: I will reserve 15-30 minutes everyday for a sewing
related activity. Drawing patterns, cutting fabric, preparing fabric
inventory at home, ripping old clothes (so they can become new clothes)
, ironing (yes the least favourite part of sewing for me but the most
important as well, i would do anything to avoid it), making patches,
repairing etc can be such things. General project hashtag is #100dayproject i use #100daysofOzgesewing #100gundeOzgeiledikis Today is the 8th day. I have been sewing lately. So it counts for the first 8 days :) "
Ve bir elbise yapmaya karar verdim. Kalıp Burda 2015/12 sayısından. "yeni projeler...öyle hergün dikiş etkinliği yapılamıyor ama
birkaç günü toparlayıp uzunca bir mola vermek mümkün. Gün 29/100"

And i decided to sew a dress. Pattern from Burda magazine volume 2015/ 12. "new projects...i can't do sewing everyday but it is possible to
gather a few days and do a longer timeout among work. Day 29/100"
Elbise parçalarını biçtim. Ama bu yazlık bir elbise olacaktı ve benim astar dikmeye hiiiç niyetim yoktu. Zaten yeterli kumaş da yoktu. Ben de kritik bölgeleri boyamaya karar verdim. Belimden kalçama kadar olan bölümü kumaşa işaretledim. Çapraz bir hat boyunca boyamaya başladım. Boya olarak akrilik boya ile tekstil medium'u karıştırdım. Kumaş boyam yok.

I have cut the dress pieces. But this would be a summer dress and i had nooo intention of sewing a lining. I did not have enough fabric, either. So i have decided to paint the critical parts. I have marked the area from my waist to hips and started painting along a diagonal line. I mixed acrylic paint with textile medium. I don't own any fabric paints.

made some trials on smaller pieces. But i just dived in with paints.

ile başlamıştım. Ama sarı, mavi kumaş ile birleşince kötü bir yeşile
dönüşmüştü. Diğer renklerin arasında gözüme battı. Bugün sarıları
turuncu-nar çiçeği kırmızısına dönüştürdüm. Damlaları üst kısımda da
devam ettirdim ve arkayı değiştirdim. Kararlar netleşince ön parçayla da
daha hızlı ve güvenli çalıştım."

"The front of the dress.
Yesterday i started with sun yellow which is a warm color. But combined
with the blue fabric it turned into an ugly green. It bothered me among
the other colors. So i fixed all yellows into orange- pomagranate flower
red.I continued the drips on the top part of the back, too. Once i made
my mind, i could work with the front with more confidence and speed."

"First of all, anything in sewing takes double the estimated time. Thus,
finishing a dress takes forever. Second, the arms and legs are fine but
the paints are so stiff. I tried the dress on, it is a complete
lampshade :) I am still laughing and annoyed at the same time. Will the
paints run off and soften a bit, hopefully, if i wash the dress in warm

defa açıklamaları okuyarak gidiyorum. Yine de olmadı gibi. Kol oyuğunun
uzunluğu her zaman kol çevresinden daha dar oluyor. Çok zorladı beni...

"Here we are in the middle of a sewing test
again: How do you put in the arms? This is my third arm of my whole
sewing life. Previously i never followed instructions, just improvised.
Surely they were terribly improper but i ignored. This time i am
following instructions. Still this does not seem right. The length of
the arm pit is always less than the circumference of the arm. I am truly
challenged...Day 41/100"

"The painted dress is complete. I washed it at low
temperature. The paints has softened. I guess with the next washes they
will be fine. I took this picture before the wash, in case it was my
last peek at its painted state :) Day 43/ 100"
Ve sonuç: Boyalar biraz yumuşadı ama hala oldukça sert. Kollar ve yaka hala gözüme batıyor. Ama düzeltecek zamanım ve isteğim olmadı. O yüzden elbiseyi şimdilik sadece ev içinde giyiyorum:) Bir daha böyle bir deneme yapacak olsam boyaları daha fazla sulandırırdım. Bir de önce kumaşın bir bölümünde boyaları test ederdim.

And the result: The paints had softened a little bit but are still quite stiff. The arms and neck are disturbing me. But i did not have the time or will to fix them. Thus i only wear the dress at home for the time being. If i had to do it again i would definitely add more water to the paints. And i would test the paints on a fabric sample first.
