Balkon bahçesi ve desenli saksılar/ Balcony garden and patterned pots

Eylül ayı boyunca #backtopattern etiketi ile Anika Starmer bir etkinlik düzenledi. Her gün için bir desen üretme etkinliği. Ben de balkon bahçesi için hazırladığım saksılar üzerinde çalıştım.

Through September Anika Starmer held a challenge named #backtopattern. The aim was to produce a pattern everyday. I worked on the pots that i was preparing for my balcony garden.

Gün 28: yuva. Burada altta fasulye (başaşağı) üstte maydanoz var. Bakalım bu deneme nasıl sonuçlanacak...

Day 28: nest. Here there are beans at the bottom (upside down) and parsley on top. Let's see how this experiment will go...

 Fasulye büyüyor, maydanozlar geç çimlenir zaten, bekliyorum :)

The bean is growing. The parsley germinates late, so i am waiting :)

Bu saksıları boyarken fırçalarımı temizlemek için kağıt havlu kullanmıştım. Onunla da eskiz defterimde oynadım.

While painting these pots, i have cleaned my brushes on a paper towel. Then i played with the towel in my art journal.

Balkon bahçesine giriş.../ Introduction to balcony gardening...

Yıllarca bahçeli bir evin hayalini kurdum. Ama şehrin ortasında, bir apartmanda otururken o hayale en yakın gerçek bir balkon bahçesi oluşturmak. 

* Balkonu daha iyi kullanmak, dışarıda vakit geçirmek için sebep yaratmak

* Kendi yiyeceğimizi üretmek, böylece tüketimi azaltmak

*Evdeki organik atıkları kompost yaparak geri dönüştürmek

*Ellerimle çalışmak

* Bilgisayar başında daha az vakit geçirmek, hareket etmek... istedim. 

Bu macera oldukça zorlu. Yerimiz sınırlı, bitki yetiştirmek konusunda tecrübem neredeyse sıfır, bütçemiz belli. Ama sanat bana yardım edecek :)

For years i have dreamed of a house with a garden.But the closest reality to this dream while living in the middle of a city, in an apartment flat, is setting up a balcony garden.

I wanted to:

* utilize the balcony more, have an excuse to stay outdoors

* produce our own food, thus consume less

* recycle organic waste at home into compost

* work with my hands

* spend less time in front of the computer, move more. 

This is quite a challenging adventure. We have limited space, i have almost no experience in growing plants, our budget is defined. But art will help me :)
