  1. Strong lines in your sketch. She looks a bit sad in the eyes.

  2. Nice face. Are you going to add any color to it? It is strong enough to stand on its own.

    1. I am working in an old book and did not cover the texts at all. I have less fear of the blank page this way. I chose to do the sketch in pen, i know i have a lot of mistakes but i wanted to keep them instead of erasing :)

  5. First I need to tell you how much I thoroughly enjoyed perusing your site. I really love your printmaking and your smaller pouches are just beautiful. I keep saying I want to learn how to sew my own- sewing has always been a challenge for me- I just wish I knew someone to help me step by step- although it looks pretty easy(the pouch) I just haven't braved it yet. I love the purple one. I love that you did these drawings on book pages. I do that a lot as well. Your work is very organic, unique. I am glad I found you here.

    1. Hello Jo, welcome to my little blog. My printmaking adventure is still going on. Would you like to join me? I am a newbie and i am just going through trial and error. Back in 2013 i decided to learn how to sew, bought myself a sewing machine (for 30 dollars from the internet) as a birthday present and started my experiments on my own. I thought to myself in the worst case i would break the needle or damage the machine but it was worth trying. Sewing pouches are easy, they are rectangles after all, at least mine are like that :) As for sewing garments well i am still struggling. But it is fun. I saw that you are a mixed media artist, why not try painting fabric and sewing it by hand? If you like it you may pass to the machine.
