*elbiseyi yenilemek, genişletmek-uzatmak, giyilebilir hale getirmek

It has been a long time since i posted something about 52 weeks of printmaking. (If you would like to learn about the project check here) Actually i am still working on printmaking on paper and fabric. And i am determined to complete it to 52 weeks. (previous weeks are here) But i did not feel like writing about it. Week 44 is below.
I fiddled with this dress back in June. It was a cotton piece that my mother had sewed for me when i was in high school. I loved and wore it until recently. But then i gained weight and could not fit in anymore. So what i wanted to do in this example was:
*renew the dress, widen-lengthen it, make it wearable again
*put more color into it as it is mainly dark blue
*use up old fabrics at home
*use the pieces of 52 weeks of printmaking (which are painted and printed by me)

52 haftada baskı yapmak projesinin parçaları/ The pieces from 52 weeks of printmaking project
kesilmiş halde/ cut out pieces
ilk yerleştirme denemeleri/ first positioning experiments
özgün elbise/ original dress
kesim öncesi/ before cutting
Elbise boydan ikiye kesildi, orta kırkyama parçası / Dress cut into two lengthwise, middle patchwork piece
Orta parça dikildikten sonra, ön./ After the middle piece is sewed, front.
Orta parça dikildikten sonra, arka./ After the middle piece is sewed, back.
Boyu uzatmak için kapsamlı matematik çalışmaları/ Advanced math studies to lengthen the dress.
Bitime yakın/ Close to the finish line

Herkese güzel bir haftasonu diliyorum./ Have a nice weekend everyone.
