2017 Aralık ayı damgaları/ 2017 December stamps

Ben Aralık ayı boyunca Julie Fei Fan Balzer'ın düzenlediği #carvedecember damga üretme etkinliğine katılıyorum. Çoğunlukla geleneksel çini desenlerini kullanarak çalışıyorum. Ama arada çağdaş formlar da var tabii. Bu hafta ilk bölümü yayınlıyorum.
------------
Through December i am joining Julie Fei Fan Balzer's stamp making challenge #carvedecember. In general I am working with traditional china patterns. But there are also contemporary forms, too. This week i am publishing the first part.
Gün 1-2. "Bakış Açısı" isimli tabak. Çini ile damgaları birleştirmeyi deneyeceğim. Bol bol hata yapma özgürlüğü veriyorum kendime. Bakalım neler çıkacak...
------------------------
Day 1-2. The plate named "Point of View" I will try to join traditional china patterns with stamps. Giving myself plenty of room for failure. Let's see what will happen...

Denemek her zaman iyidir, hatalardan öğreniyorum. Yaşasın yeni hatalar.

Day 3-4-5. "Fortune" named china plate is finished. Here are the mistakes i have learned in the process: You can stamp on biscuit ceramic with stamping ink. You might as well be happy that the ink has dried. But when you go over with china paint, the water activates the ink, it smears all over. And it is impossible to wipe away. I hope that maybe the ink will burn away during firing, maybe it will not ruin the china paints. What if not? Well, it is not the end of the world. Trying is always nice, i learn from my mistakes. Here is to new mistakes...

 Gün 5-6/ Day 5-6

  Gün 7/ Day 7
 Gün 8/ Day 8

Siz de #carvedecember etkinliğine katıldınız mı? Hiç damga yapmayı denediniz mi? Herkese mutlu yıllar diliyorum :)

Did you join  #carvedecember , too? Have you ever tried making a stamp? I wish everyone a happy new year :)

  2. You always carve the most incredible stamps. You never fail to impress me, even when you feel they weren't up to par. The only one I made I used a kitchen knife to carve it. I have no tools, so you always impress me.

    1. Thank you Elizabeth. This year i used a pin that i have heated to shape my stamps. So i kind of cheated when i say i carved stamps. I did not totally carve the foam. Actually i always try to come up with ideas to help the laziness :)

  9. A Happy New Year to you and I love your artwork! I also love the mistakes :) The fortune China plate looks great although the ink has run out. It looks like intentionally shaded. I think the outcome after firing could be fantastic. Good luck!
